- A pair of Chinese pottery blue and white plates, Kangxi period (1662-1722). Each plate with central roundel delicately painted with similar scenes of two small boys at play within a fenced garden watched from nearby by a graceful lady clutching a fan and also by a gentleman seated in a house with another small boy on a terrace above, the rim with ladies in a garden setting participating in leisure pursuits of various types, the reverse with a single floral spray encircling the rim, the vase with a large double floral spray bending to form a circle.
