Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) dark blue wool mess dress jacket; two rows of three guilt buttons with embossed eagle surmounted by a Queen's Crown; dark blue silk lapels.
Summary
This is a standard issue Royal Australian Air Force mess dress jacket issued during the 1970s. The Embassy of Australia donated the uniform to the National Air Space Museum in a gesture of good will and international cooperation. There is no known information at this time about the individual who wore the uniform or their service record.
